The Study With US (SWU) program, a collaborative initiative between the Development Office and the New Generation Academy, recently concluded its academic journey with a grand graduation ceremony on May 20 at the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½. This program is implemented in partnership with FHI360 (Family Health International 360) and is funded by the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs of the US State Department.

The Study With US (SWU) program was designed to provide students with a comprehensive educational experience, offering 180 hours of Academic English instruction, pre-academic training, and valuable insights into campus life in the United States. Throughout the SWU program, students actively participated in rigorous Academic English courses, significantly enhancing their language proficiency and preparing them for future endeavors. The main goal of this program was to enhance 150 Bishkek and Osh high school students' competency to apply, enroll, and achieve academic success in U.S. colleges and universities. Program staff and faculty will continue to support and assist program participants with their educational development and plans.

The graduation ceremony held at the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ was a momentous occasion to mark the end of the program and celebrate the remarkable achievements of all SWU program participants. Students were acknowledged and celebrated for their hard work, dedication, and perseverance throughout the program, as well as their resilience and adaptability in the face of challenges.

The ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ President, Dr. Timothy O'Connor, opened the official part of the event, welcoming all gathered participants and expressing gratitude to donors and program staff. He especially sincerely thanked parents for supporting and encouraging their children through the program. Ajay Rao, the U.S. Embassy Deputy of Public Affairs, pointed out that all program participants are the future leaders of the Kyrgyz Republic. All skills acquired during the program will serve them well wherever they go.

Further, faculty members commended students for their progress and growth throughout their studies, highlighting their commitment to excellence and passion for learning. Therefore, the event went into the certification ceremony where the Valedictorian student of the SWU program 2024 - Meleka Jusupova was announced! Dear Meleka, congratulations on behalf of the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ family on this crucial achievement!
