A minor is a secondary area of study on which the student may choose to concentrate, in addition to the major.
Ìý
In order to apply for a minor, students must present a minimum GPA of 2.5 in their majors. Some minor programs may require higher admission GPAs. The student should obtain permission from the Coordinator of the major program and the Coordinator of the program that administers the relevant minor program before declaring a minor. They should complete this form, obtain the appropriate signatures and submit it to the Registrar’s Office.
